Orkfia Portal goes Toolbar
Here is another new thing for all you orkfia players.
Im proud to pronounce the launch of Orkfia-Portal Toolbar.
This toolbar is to aid you as a player even more with links to all orkfia related sites, RSS feeds from the blog here and various other blogs, IRC launch links, Login gadgets for Classic and Alliances at War (login for the portal to come). It also got weather, games/tools gadget and radio.
The toolbar will be upgraded after what you want to have on it so get in touch if you want something added. You also dont need to download it again to get the upgrades, all you have to do is click on the left dropdown menu just next to the orkfia logo and click the “refresh toolbar” and you’ll get the latest updates.
To the right here on the sidebar is a installation link for it, the webpage for the toolbar is: http://orkfiaportal.ourtoolbar.com/
Im looking forward to see this toolbar evolve even more, so stay tuned.

Summer fun.
As most of you know and Ive mentioned this before, summer time is a ebb for Orkfia and generally most online activities performed by the mainstream online users. We are therefor going to have some fun with renaming the races and their units during this summer (to be corrected again after the summer), first theme we are looking at for next age is most likely a WoW-theme, There will be a topic about this here on the portal forum so check it out for more details and to leave suggestions about other themes we could use.
Site development
Im constantly trying to improve this portal and are looking for ideas you guys might have, if you havent already then sign up on the forum and write a note in the suggestion topic under site development if you have any suggestions.
I have also added login for both Classic and AatW to the right here on the sidebar. I feel that I need to point out that do NOT login from any custom site to orkfia, even tho it might be working the admin of that site might just aswell have added a function to get your user details as soon as you use it.
The only sites Orkfia supports for login is their own homepages www.orkfia.org / orkfia.phpsupport.se , www.orkfiaclassic.com / dinah.phpsupport.se and this portal. We cannot guarantee the safety of your details on any other site.
Promoting post-summer
Due to the ebb caused by the summer we are looking into having a “big” re-relaunch after the summer, ofc we would like you to tell your friends about the game even before the summer is over but we would like to promote the game even more and for that we are putting together a good promoting/marketing team, if you would like to be part of this team then get in contact with any of the staff either on the forum here, ingame or on irc and they will give you more information.

Most of the players in Orkfia Classic is now out of protection and the hunt for those less defend tribes has started, who knows what we will see, which alliance will take the early lead this age?

Age 29 is now live
Hello there fellow readers.
I just wanted to inform you all that Age 29 in Orkfia Classic now is live, first update will take place in ~55 minutes.
We in the staff wish you players a great age, and if your not a player already take the opportunity and sign up now (click here to sign up), if you have friends who are into online gaming mention the game for them, send them the links, invite them to the facebook page, lets bring this community together and invite more players.

Also alliance #4 which are the PR staff team will at some point look for more dedicated players that whish to spread the word of Orkfia, if you would be interested get in touch with me. Even tho we currently have a small playerbase and the game just recently returned the summer has always been a low period in the game with most ppl having fun in the sun. We need to be aware of this and work out a plan for the summer and a big operation in august to make the playerbase bigger.

Forum update
The forum here will be closed for an hour or so while we do some updateing and fixing.
When its done we are looking at 8 styles to be voted down to ~2 (+default) so keep an eye open for the poll for it.

Bringing the Classic to Classic
First of the dates for the new age has been set. at 00:00 between the 15th and 16th there is gonna be a soft reset removing the update button, then at 00:00 between the 16th and 17th the game will go live, having the first update at 01:00. The Age will then end 4 weeks later 00:00 between 14th and 15th of May.
It is always nice to hear about the old times in Orkfia, but this thing blew my mind. I was talking to Immo a little bit when he suddenly accused me of cheating, after a few “lolerz, torskz and wtfzrs” he then showed me this link and it seems like the orkfia portal been around for a while:P
To honour this, Im creating a Hall of Fame on the forum where I want to gather Alliance stories, past members, past banners and everything you can think of. If you would happen to have any intel on this then help me help you:)
Classic – Age 29 registration now online
Hello there.
Im happy to tell you that Orkfia Classic now had its hard reset, races has been updated (the guide aswell) and the update button has been added.
The new code for the other changes will be uploaded within a few days before the age starts. We are currently looking at dates for the age to start, most likly its gonna be a soft reset on wednesday where the new code is uploaded and the update button removed, then 24hours until the age goes live.
