Age 35 – Dates

The changes will be uploaded this weekend, followed by a soft reset where we add the usual updatebutton. Age 35 starts 00:00ST night between the 5th and 6th december, the updatebutton will be removed with a softreset 48hours before the age starts.
The age will last for four weeks.
A deeper explaining post about the changes will be posted soon, just a quick thing about the sci changes, its the extra bonuses that will be increased like the bonus from fbs and such.

War Report – #125 Vs. #73
Note: dates for age 35 and a deeper post about the changes will be posted tomorrow.
It was a nice cool Tuesday morning at the office, and I logged in at Infinity. But I rattled after seeing at the Global News that my alliance waged war with #73. We just returned from a fresh surrender from another powerful alliance and I thought we really don’t need another war right now.
I asked our co-elder Lanfear, one of the Forsaken owls about the war status. It seems that he (Lanfear) and fellow owl (Band of the Red Hand) and a Mori Hai (Betrayer of Hope)is making the first move by burning homes of the enemy’s top Undead Cleomenes III, he went down quickly after an hour of declaration with Band of the Red Hand giving his soul to the Dark Master Shaitan, thus slashing a big chunk of acres for winning the war.
At this point I am still planning my personal move, I was kinda taken aback by Lanfear’s move of waging war with no notice whatsoever but I have faith in our warlord that we can get this done. I quickly converted to warmode as Lanfear and the rest of the alliance is also preparing for Tarmon Gaidon. The Spartans as we all know from history when pushed back to its limit will quickly transform to a hungry wolf, and we are expecting it.
After we killed their top UD, the warlord planned again our coordinated attacks to their second top tribe, Olath Eldalie Vharcan, a dark elf. We gathered enough intel that gave as the assumption that we can kill him after an hour. Lanfear, Band of the Red Hand, Betrayer of Hope and Darkhound the Beast once again made the damages by sending him the fires of hell that quickly eradicated his homes, as I watched useless and pumped up at the same time. Unfortunately we came out short, all the Fireballs didn’t finish this enemy, and he is online that time, we expected this Spartan wolf to release his troops and live another day but to our surprise he didn’t. I guess he just gave up, the Spartan blood went cold. That single tick is the longest since we don’t have any ammos left and he still got 200 citz. Then to our horror, we saw Vharcan’s tribe crumbled! we wondered who gave the last blow, it didn’t came in our alliance, but to some measly alliance who just want to spoil our war victory. We are so pissed with that move that I personally sent a bull email to him. He just stole our kill!! And #125 never forget easily.
So we didn’t get the kill points on Vharcan, which is about 1500 acre DE, we have to look for another target that’s feasible with our battle timeline. We chose another Spartan names Dilios, same tactics was used in delivering his soul to Shaitan. This time its Lanfear, Band of the Red Hand, Betrayer of Hope and Machin Shin. Our Elder delivered the killing blow burning his citizens to dust with Fireballs.
After his painful death, the Spartans are also gearing up for their retals, though heavily outnumbered, they finally attacked. They targeted our youngest ally, Dragon Reborn, still starting to grow. They hit him with every chance they got, with Blasphemy Crusade they came at him with no remorse, no mercy as a Spartan should be…a killer in the battlefield. But our ally proved to be a thorn to their side, while they are busy battling him, tried to kill all his citz, he hang on to dear life. His alliance didn’t fail him when he ask for back up, another BC from the enemy and all of his citz could’ve been dead, but his alliance delivered the killing blow. This time it was Astinos who suffered the fires of hell from Lanfear, Band of the Red Hand, Betrayer of Hope, Moraine Damodred and Syrax Bloodbane. Astinos proved to be hard to kill since hes always online and active. Syrax Bloodbane gave the killing blow. After Astino’s death, all attacks from the enemy halted.
Over all, we killed 3 of their top tribes not counting Vharcan due to some alliance interfering with our war. We only need to grab a small acre of land to any of their tribes to win, but we won’t be satisfied with that. We will deliver another soul to Shaitan to be able to be satisfied.
We set our eyes on their Elder, a Rept Hai. At this point, they somehow stopped attacking our young ally and hold on to defend themselves but it proved to be impossible. After we charged our TP’s we attacked full force on their Elder, with no mercy we ravaged the lands, violated Spartan soil with their own blood. In the end we brought back our pride, our honor and most of all our spirit. Our alliance is still a force reckon with, and to the alliance who interfered, BE READY.
Orkfia Classic – Age 35
Age 34 is now over, gg everyone, congratz to Countdown for winning the age.
Now then, where should we start, lets start of with some staff information.
Orkfia Classic got three main “Orkfian Gods” (admins). They are:
- Acwder: PR, Development etc.
- Max: Coding, Development etc.
- Ozzie: Law and Order etc.
Below us three there is several heads over different sections, they are:
- Greybeard: Head of Operations.
- Guran: Head of Marketing.
- Sweets: Head of Law and Order.
- Wheelie: Head of Development (Ab hinc).
There is also several more staff members, a complete list can be found here.

- 10% higher successrate on theivery operations.
Sage
- 10% higher income.
- 15% less rp cost -> 20% less rp cost.
- +20% research bonus, 10% means 12% for the tribe.
- Banks produce minimum what mines does, removed.
Now over to game and layout changes:
- Double size thief penelty removed.
- Templu Amblo changed to 1500 acres.
- Frontpage – Cleaned up.
- mp/tp cost for Dragon Apprentice, Dragonmage, Fireball, Arson and Poison Water increased with 25% out of war.
- Raids – Citz killed lowered with 50%, inside wars they are increased with 50% based on the oow.
- Hideouts: 1% HO’s neglects 2% of your thief pop from your regular pop up till 15% hoes, then it counts for 1% per 1% HO.
- Tribe creation bonus – Joining X days into a age gives you 250 + X*25 starting acres.
- Tribe creation / Death bonus – Amount of starting citz will be increased the further into the age you get.
- Death Bonus – Doubled in war.
- Science – Change formula to R / (45 + 2.5R); R = RPA.
- Science – All bonuses except for Prod sci, defence and offence bonuses are increased.
- War – Declaration limits changed to 80% – Unlimited.
- War – The warsystem will be posted in a own post shortly.
- “Orkfia Agent” added, explained more below.
“Orkfia Agent” is a new feature thats been planned for quite some time. The function it serves is easy, it stores all the intel you’ve gathered in a clean way for your alliance to use, no need to fill the ingame forum with intel threads. A own post for this system will follow shortly.
The CoC will also have a workthrough until Age 35, more about that will be announced at the age start.
Dates for Age 35 will be posted along with the new warsystem etc shortly.
The Orkfia Toolbar will be updated asap and a soft reset ingame will take place once the initial changes is done (classes and races) which is aprox. estimated to happen tomorrow.

Working the Data
Hey
Just wanted to inform everyone that the survey is closed and Im working on the raw data to bring a post at the end of this week containing all the data in some graphs.
Here is a little preview, this question was: “Rank The Portal“, like most of the question you could pick 1-5 and “I don’t know”.

The outcome of the 49 who took the survey was:

War Report – The Cigarettes Vs. [KP]
Thursday evening it was… [KP] had reset themselves again and were surprised by a war declare! The Cigarettes #42 seemed to hate us too much to let us grow in peace. It was 21:10:00 and Atan was all excited. He got slightly disappointed though when he noticed that #42 was not even in warmode. His idea about getting defence was abandoned 2 minutes later, since we felt more like running farms than anything else.
First thing that happened in the war was the death of taNk. A 10k acre Draggy fell, his age caught up with him. A worthy end of a worthy life! This was a major blow in the face of #42, since they had to kill at least all of us and then some of us a second time to win the war now. Good move from taNk!Next step was the kill on a random farm by Atan. Green lines produce good morale. Since we couldn’t do anything at #42 except for throwing visions and intel ops, it was decided that a farm would be killed instead. Farmme soon felt our lust for blood, when Atan promptly slaughtered his 155 citizens in his zeal for green lines.
#42 saw these good moves and decided it was time for action! They started raiding poor roon’s raven with their huge 1000-2000 acre attackers. Roon couldn’t do anything at all but staying alive, and that’s what he did the first night. 12 raids and 12 updates later, roon still was alive and kicking, but for how long!?
Meanwhile, one of the biggest tribes in orkfia, a 5500 acre Uruk, managed to get himself in our shitlist by both raiding and BC’ing into our war. Two more nice OOW features were a full Spirit suicide on one of our tribes and an Oleg hiring mercs just to be able to hit into our war as well. We enjoyed the high level of hatred we seemed to have obtained by now, and took our acres back from the suiciding Spirit
The next 12 hours, the siege on Roon continued. After 24 hours of war, there had been 24 attacks on him of which approximately 21 had been raids. 128k citizens had been slaughtered in this process, but due to our economics roon’s citizens seemed efficient enough in repoducing themselves to keep up with that, though a mysterious ‘soldier boost’ had to be used sometimes. Roon was fighting back bravely with raids, hitnruns and grabs. This didn’t do much, but it kept the war a bit spicy at least.
After 24 hours we noticed that a truce had been offered. It was decided that roon would have to accept or deny it, since he was the only tribe warring the Cigarettes anyway. The rest of us were growing in peace and prosperity, cheering at roon and eating their food that was produced en masse. However, Roon was sporting once again (he seems to sport about 12 hours a day) and before he was back the truce had been redrawn.
#42 changed tactics that friday night since roon proved to be hard to kill. Instead of killing, they started harming us as much as possible by BC’ing our fastest Owls. Atan’s lands seemed real attractive for birds, since his Owl citizens were regularly visited by both BC’ing Ravens and burning Dragons. Luckily Atan has a tolerant mind, and he kept sending friendly messages, pointing enemy tribe leaders out that their Dragons seemed to have escaped and offering willingly to send them back later.
The huge Uruk that BC’ed and raided into our war earlier had been pm’ed by Atan as well and he stated that he was testing out damage on Owls merely. We didn’t like that he started to test the damage on Rept Hai as well though, so BiltesKrieg suggested that when Karma would catch up with him, he would not forget to pm him that we were merely testing t/m damage against dumb Uruks.
The final 8 hours of the war #42 showed their persistence and nerve. Not giving up at all, the harassing of Atan continued. Over 12k thieves had been killed already, and the attacks kept coming. Especially Newport prove to be a vicious enemy with his numerous BC’s. We started to be a bit tired of the BC’s and were happy this war would end soon. It was a nice present that #42′s small Raven, Camel, decided to suicide fully 7 minutes before the tick. I was pm’ing with Prince at this point but noticed the grab 3 minutes before tick. The whole IRC channel was slapped and 3 grabs were made close to the tick on the raven. After the tick Camel had 200 citizens, but we were not able to kill them since we were still full farms and didn’t have much mp/tp. A few minutes later he released some units for citizens.
In retrospect, #42 deserves congratulations for their persistence, acitivity, humor and boldness but at the same time it is obvious that they need some lessons in coordination, calculating and organisation. They will be taught by us. Next time
Winners: #42, #27, Prince, Newport, Roon, Atan, the Reporter (me).
Losers: The huge Uruk, the Oleg that bumped 5 times into our war (4 bounces + 1 grab), the suiciders and of course Acwder for grabbing me

AatW Age 18 Changes
Hey again just made a post about aatw login being disabled, it just got back up again, and the changes for age 18 has been posted. Here they are:
- Game Changes Age 18 -
New Features
- There is a completely new mystics interface
Game Changes
- Spells
- 2 New alliance spells: Seal of Deflection and Fountain of Resu
- Magical Void will remove spells in a random order
- War bonus for thievery & mana points = 2 updates, but no longer more than max capacity
- New tribes
- Spell effect hours to 18 instead of 3
- Market sell limit to 8 (length of OOP) from 24
- Citizens
- Reduce minimum raid losses to 2x acreage (from 3x) for all races
- Reduce Fireball damage to 75% of current
- Churches and Guard Houses efficiency are decreased to 3% defence per 1% buildings, from 3,5%. A max 80% rule remains.
- Old research will decay much, much faster
