Exclusive Interview with “Greybeard”

Q: Your nickname Greybeard does it have any ties irl or how come the nickname?

A: I chose the name when my beard began turning grey. I was in Scouting at the time and a greybeard is someone who is old and wise.

Q: What do you do irl?

A: I’m a construction Millwright

Q: How long have you been into online gaming?

A: I’ve been playing orkfia for about 8 years, It was my first online game

Q: Im guessing most newer players doesnt recognize your nick that much, what is your Orkfian story?

A: My son and some of his high school buddies formed an alliance, One day he was talking about it at the dinner table. It sounded like a lot of fun so I asked if I could join them the next age. We struggled as a ghetto alliance for 4 or 5 ages as we slowly inched our way up the ranks. Finally we got good enough to get slaughtered by the best alliances. Around this time Scarlo randomed into our alliance looking for a place to hide. He introduced us to irc where I assumed the nickname Greybeard. I improved rapidly under Scarlo’s tutelage and my son and his friends dropped out. a couple of ages later I joined core and became one of their mainstays.

Q: Do you have any certain Orkfian Moment you would like to share with the readers?

A: I have too many great memories in orkfia to pick just one

Q: You are a Staffmember in Classic, what kind of job do you have there?

A: Mostly I do name changes, merges and answer questions

Q: As a old veteran you’ve seen people come and go, what player has done the biggest impression on you?

A: Most definitely Scarlo, he taught me the ropes in the game and we have become good internet friends.

Q: Which version of Orkfia do you play?

A: Right now I’m not playing either, I dropped out of infinity to concentrate on classic, but then work got really busy so I dropped out of classic. I may look up some old friends in infinity and slack with them for a while

Q: If you could change anything in the game, what would that be?

A: I’d love to see a larger playerbase

Q: Is there any message you would like to send to new players in the world of Orkfia?

A: Bring a friend
