Orkfia Classic Relaunch News
Hey everyone, the day is finaly upon us and soon very soon will the registration be open on the new server.
Now then lets start of with all the game change & Race changes.
Game Changes Age 33:
Layout:
- Remove Game Talk and World Forum ingame.
- Replace the world forum link with a Portal forum link.
- Removal of Ruler age.
- Remove the display of offensive fame bonus.
- Remove non existing rankings in history like king of the hill.
- Remove Meteor Elf and Templar from the Target finder.
- Add Option to keep throwing spells until the mp is 0 (Same should be for tp aswell).
- Add “Orkfia Toolbar” under “Tools”
- Add for Elders to see that there is rps invested in the footer.
- Add Google Analytics.
- Move Admin message from the bottom of the tribe page to the top with the rest of the links.
- Add Rss feed to the Global news.
- Add timestamps to Inner Sight, Recon, Sneak, Intercept and Truth Eye just like Vision got one.
- Remove “Pestilence” in the Orkfia Stats.
- Add DragonMage dmg to the Orkfia Stats next to Arson.
- Add Most Kills to the Orkfia Stats next to Largest Kill.
- Add A countdown timer for age ending in the Orkfia Stats just below The age duration counter. (some ppl cant calc.).
- Add Priests to the total citizen count and divide thieves and military again.
Buildings:
- Remove Labs, replaced with buying rps for cr instead.
- Remove Markets, set cr cost for buildings and same minimum cost for logs.
- Add Temple, each temple trains one priest per tick, no limitation on how much temples one can have but you can only have 10 PPA (Priests Per Acre), each PPA gives 1 % extra productivity, other then the same a productivity science this should also effect taxes.
- Add Tent, 20% chance that tents gives random acres each tick, maximum 25% tents. formulae: 900*t/(200+3*a). (20% gains for dragons and 0% for nazguls).
Protection Build Setup
- Remove the 10 hideouts.
- Start with 0 temples and tents.
Science
- Labs been removed like mentioned above.
- Buy rps for cr.
- 1k / rp (2k for britts and 200 for dragons).
- Science cap at 25%.
- Formulae: R / (54 + 3R) = sci ; R = RPA.
Spells and Ops
- Add “Hurricane”, Each Hurricane destroyes 1% of the enemy Tents, 20% chance of backfire sending the Hurricane over your own tents. Successrate and fame gain like Cyclops, Costs like Anthrax.
- Add “Assassination”, Kills Priests, each op kills 2% of the priests. Successrate and cost like PW, requires acres*0.5 thieves.
- Napa disabled.
Exploration
- Same cost for basics and logs, cr cost: acres*5.
Merging
- Fixed.
Fame
- Set starting fame to 10k.
- Each k fame gives 1% extra tp/mp regrowth.

I forgot to mention that Dragonmage dmg has been slightly modified, its now rounded up instead of down since earlier it could result in 0 homes burned.
It’s also now fixed so that ‘ etc is allowed in the tribe names.

- Wraith (13/13) – 1525cr –> 1425 cr
- Gollum (0/0) – 660cr –> 333 cr
Eagle
- Anekonian (2/8) – 1120cr –> 1200 cr
Dragon
- Baby Dragon (1/1) – 50cr –> 40 cr
- Red Dragon (50/15) – 1150cr –> 1075 cr
- 3 hour attack time –> 2 hour attack time
- -80% military losses –> -50% military losses
Viking
- Berserker (8/7) – 860cr –> (8/6) – 815 cr
Dwarf

Now that is all changes for age 33, I might have missed to add some layout fixes but other then that, thats all. Biggest change tho is behind the scene where Max our coder has recoded and sorted most of the code, basicly its close to a new game;)

Back to buisness, the Classic game server has been moved and are now found on game.orkfia-portal.com, the reason behind this url will come in the next article or so here.
We have covered alot of fixing and alot of changes, we had so many of them we had to save a few until age 34 and as a first tiny tiny sneak peek for age 34 Id like to mention Classes and that Priests will take upon themselves a larger role, what this means you’ll have to find out;)
So registration is open and there is a unpaused game with a unlimited updatebutton there so join up and check the new Orkfia Classic out.
Note: We are still correcting some layout stuff so if you come across something you dont thing should be there then please post about them in the announcments bug thread. The guide is also being worked upon as we speak (Im working on a new layout) and it will be ready within 24-48hours.
