Orkfia Classic – Orkfia+Bug+Agestart = true?

As most of you are aware we have once again in true orkfian manner stumbled across yet another big bug just around the time of the age start, people are having updates, some even oop.

we are currently aiming to add a 24-36hours (exact ticks will be announced) update button to be added followed by reseting the game and then unpause it in 24-36 ticks (depending on what hrs we set ofc) so the oop would be the same, the training etc would still be done without the updatebutton so ppl could end oop with 0 def (so atleast the last 10hrs will be without the button)

We are unfortunatly struck with the bad luck of our coder being in a location with no current internet access.

This was really not how I or anyone involved in this expected it to go, all we can do now is minimize the losses and move on. I hope that you all will stay with us.

[Update] 10:00 Sept. 18th

Okey here we go, a 36hours updatebutton will be added, game reseted and kept paused.

The game will be unpaused 12:00:01 on the 19th so everyone will be oop like first planned.

Only drawback here is that we are locking down the market for the first 36ticks in prot. to avoid possible abuse. (The option would had been to give a 23hours updatebutton but that would had been unfairly short noticed) (<- is that even english?:P)

   should have imagined the shock i had when i came online and saw “your tribe has been reset”… was pretty sure i messed up!

   however age started well enough for almost everyone, so all is ok. the only thing i didnt like it that some allis took advantage of this and changed their race alli strat to take over others during the ticks where the update button was available… a low move, but all’s fair in love and war right?
