Orkfia Classic – Age 35 – War

Age 35 is coming closer so its about time the new warsystem got explained. First tho this.

The first age of Orkfia Classic started November 20th 2007. Its ofc a milestone to have passed a year but Orkfia itself has in various shapes been around since 2001 and our own “relaunch” of Orkfia Classic just happened a few months back (September 18th).

All of us that played in the past got memories (unless serious alcohol consumption has deleted them) on what Orkfia used to be like. Here on the portal forum we got a subforum named Hall of Fame where people can post stories about their Orkfian career and alliances they’ve been in. Its a great section and you really should have a look and if you havent already make sure to make a post of your own. Its found here.

Now to the project, Im looking to start up a project named Orkfia History, a history about the game itself, trying to piece together a timeline consisting of stuff like ages, major changes, alliances, admins/staffers etc etc. So, if You can help with this please help, maybe you happen to remember what date a specific age started or you got loads and loads of intel, either catch me on irc or send all the data you can remember/find to support@orkfia-portal.com.

War, for age 35 we got some changes to the system.

  • Range 80% – no upper range.
  • Top #1 Alliance cannot surrender.
  • After declaration it takes four hours for the war to “kick in”.
  • After a war is over it takes four hours until the war bonuses is removed.
  • When declared upon the elder has a option (naming stuff is a tricky buisness, if you have a suggestion for this option, send a mail to support@orkfia-portal.com) to delay the declaration time by another four hours making it 4 + 4 = 8 hours.
  • During war the increased mp/tp cost added on the offensive spells/ops gets removed.

Now to what you win and what you lose from fighting a war.

  • If victorious each tribe in the alliance gets a income bonus based on: hours the war lasted * income(your income the same hour the war ends in all branches) * 20%.
  • If surrender your income is cut to 75% during the four hours it takes for the war to end.
  • The 50% cooldown on dmg removed, after the 4 hours it takes for a war to end a normal cooldown kicks in.
  • All of the other stuff in the current warsystem stays.
  • Like it was mentioned in the other post, if you die during a war your deathbonus gets increased.

    Since they OOW cost 25% more than they do in war, more or less.
