Welcome to Orkfia-Portal.
The main reason why I created this site was to help the community and the game experience to grow.
First initial thoughts was to have a blog and a forum, from that the Portal has evolved and are today
consisting of loads of more stuff. Here is a brief list:
The Blog:
This blog located on the frontpage consist of several categories of blog entries, we got Orkfian Times
posting there, war reports, site development, News, Server specific news and even Poetry.
The entries is on a wide range and can all be navigated through the category section on the left sidebar. There is also the possbility to search the content of the blog.
(If you wanna be a guestwriter or got a war report then dont hesitate contacting us,
information how to do that can be found on the bottom of this entry.)
The Forum:
This forum is a more complex forum then the ingame ones, it consists of several subforums for various things.
Examples of subforums is the strategy section and the Hall of Fame (If you havent posted your orkfian story then do it now!).
The Faces:
Here you can find pictures of Orkfia players, this is where the previous Orkfian Faces got moved to.
Portal IRC Widget:
This is one of the latest additions to the Portal, several players has complained that they dont either
have mIRC / dont understand it / dont like it / have it blocked from work.
Well cry no more, this ajax widget lets you connect straight to #orkfia @ irc.netgamers.org right away,
even if mIRC is blocked this still works, just pick your nickname and hit the connect button.
Once your connected it works just like a normal irc client.
The Toolbar:
This is a personal favorite of mine.
This is a toolbar you add to your browser (for IE and FF users), if you already have loads of toolbars
then do not worry, if you got a toolbar from the same company as the Orkfia Toolbar then you can merg
them and with a simple click be switching between them.
The Orkfia Toolbar consists of several functions, from menus to everything a Orkfian player needs to
specific toolbar tools like “Gain Calculator” , “Successrate Spells” , “Successrate Ops”, quick race stats
and more awsome stuff. It also got rss feed from the Portal blog, so when there is a new post the toolbar
will notifiy you. If you havent checked it out already then do it today!
Another great thing with the toolbar is that usage and searches generates profit for us, not much but some,
for example 16 active users, 36 in usage and 8 searches in one day gives something like ~$.10.
The money (when it can be withdrawn) will be used for marketing of the game,
so if you wanna help sponsor Orkfia in a non costly way then use the Orkfia Toolbar!
