What is Orkfia?

Welcome to Orkfia.

Orkfia is a fantasy world set in a time where combat was bloody and magic was all around. As the leader of a tribe in Orkfia it is your mission to lead the tribe to glory. No matter how poor you are in the outside world you can be rich in Orkfia, you may be puny in real life but in Orkfia you can be a mighty warrior crushing all those who stand in your way.. to gain rankings or just because you feel like it. Orkfia is the place where your cunning strategies, creativity and psychotic tendencies can run free.

People play Orkfia from countries all around the Earth. Your friends and foes could be in the next town to you or the other side of the world. The server resides in Sweden and this server time is the generally accepted standard time of Orkfia, server time is shown in the top middle of your tribe page once you are logged in.

Orkfia as a game started in 2001 and has been evolving ever since. Currently there are two servers for two different styles of play. The Classic Orkfia server is the original format of the game with ages lasting a maximum of 4-6 earth weeks. At the end of the Age the game is stopped and rankings are taken, whichever Alliances and Tribes are on top at this moment are announced as the winners of the Age before every tribe is reset back to the same starting values in time for the next Age to begin.

In contrast the Infinity Orkfia server never stops. Whilst time is still measured the same and Ages still exist, your Tribe resets on your own personal timeline after your Tribe Leader dies of old age. Rankings are based on your performance through the entire age rather than one specific day, with the Age winners being those who remained at the top for the longest period of time. In recognition of the assets you accumulate during your tribe’s lifetime, when your tribe resets due to natural death of age you will receive a percentage of your land and other attributes for your restart so that you don’t have to start from scratch each age.
