War report Omega vs MQ
About a week ago we were in a semi war mode killing anyone who grabbed us or looked at us the wrong way. We were hit a few times by 41 (and 27 who was punished)and graciously tried to make a point through a few coordinated grabs, we’ll get to that later.
Orkfia weekly #5
Hello and welcome to Orkfia weekly #5 – Staff edition
What you might say to yourself, nothing about the wars this last week? Well there has unfortunately been no wars at all this last week. So get a grip everyone, war more!
Orkfia weekly #4
It’s time for Orkfia weekly, a few days late due to me traveling to much.
Starting of with the wars.
War report GO vs ID
With the whole alliance being very young and never really tried out a all out war kt. War was being proposed by Halcyon to test out the strength of this newly formed alliance.
War report KP vs CD
After the last Orkfia weekly some discussion came to life regarding war reports and winners versus losers of any specific war.
So Bolle took it upon himself to write a little bit more obscene war report then usual to mainly annoy rEdL|nE ^^
So here it is, KP versus CD:

War Report KP vs GNS
After the war against #45 KP focused on growing up a little but suddenly found itself almost on top with only GNS being a few acres ahead. This happened since #71′s huge Mori’s died of age and CD was decimated in a long a tough war with GNS. Before our previous war against #45 KP and GNS had already had a period of silent staring at eachother as GNS also was in warmode and very suspicious of our motives. Thus knowing that GNS would be confronting KP sooner or later, we decided that we rather pick the time ourselves and did a quick summon who had time during the weekend. Although the response wasn’t clear at all, it was decided that we would need to kill some tribes in GNS nonetheless and a convertion time was set. Not unexpected, GNS noticed the convertion and went into a semi-turtle semi-warmode, with tough defences and the ability to strike back slightly with mainly thieves but also a bit of mage backup and a lot of attackers.
The first KT was set at 08:55 and was performed in a wholly unknown manner to me because I managed to sleep straight through it. This was due to me having a very weird night which involved going to a party twice in the same night while sleeping inbetween. It was not ideal in any way but funny nonetheless, and it caused me to turn in half an hour after our first target had been killed. This happened a tick later than was planned due to Acwder heroically destroying the homes of a wrong target. However, Kaamos grabbing almost 1000 acres seems to have done the trick.
Acwder made up:
2011-09-17 10:00:00 «» Our Benedict Arnold has laid the final blow to The Lively Swallows (#18)’s career.

The second KT was at the Mori that was accidentally softened up by Acwder. A raze from (again) kaamos and one from Acwder(!) both brought him on the verge of death on different ticks but he managed to release enough troops in time to avoid an immediate demise every time. Meanwhile zelic, part of our squad of medium-sized DE’s got KA’ed by GNS, receiving 2 BC’s. He too managed to survive at the cost of a substantial part of his army. Somehow, zelic always manages to get KA’ed and somehow he always manages to survive too.
During the recharging, a new banner was put up.

A third KT was set but it proved very tough to decide who to target: all of GNS tribes were substantially turtled and extremely active. In the end, it seems that Hairy Porter, our target of last failed KA, still was the best target around. So we gave him the honour of a second attempt. This attempt also failed by a small margin because we constantly were missing our two medium-sized Britts, who appeared to be very much occupied by RL during almost the whole war! However, our persistence seemed to pay off in the end when mr. Potter didn’t show up at the 00:00 tick. A big raze by kaamos combined with all regrowth mp around was enough to put mr. Potter at rest. An eloquent banner was soon found by Acwder:

With the night upcoming, our DE’s got up some extra thievery safety and went to sleep. A next KT was set at 7:55. GNS tried to kill Bolle during the night and took quite some homes around 4:55, but when he woke up he wasn’t dead yet. Our target became Nearly Headless Nick, another Mori with roughly the same defences as Potter himself. We didn’t get close to a kill in the first tick though, missing several people. Funny thing was, our newer members kaamos and holman76 were alot more useful than some of our oldies (let’s call them V. and R.) who were completely absent for long periods of time without any knowledge about their whereabouts (although R. had very important business indeed and must be excused perhaps.. For this V. person, there is no excuse ofcourse : P ). GNS struck at Bolle at 8:55 with two well-timed and devastating razes, putting him at rest although he released some troops before tick. Acwder followed again his old way of razing when the big GNS attackers had troops out and razed Nick together with kaamos, but no matter how Nearly Headless he might have been from the start, we managed to fail to decapitate this Nick completely no matter what we tried.
So it was decided that we needed maxed thieves in order to kill stuff and a new KT was therefore set at 18:55, when Acwder would be full. GNS didn’t sit still during that long time though and decided to target a certain V., our inactive Britt who was too much occupied by real life during this weekend. It seems he got some warding like job without internet acces and thus he miserably failed to ward off the danger threatening his tribe and he fell at 17 ST. Thus GNS came back to a 2-2 score while 2 of their tribes were killed already. It was quite frightening to see how much they managed to do with relatively little firepower, due to good coordination and timing (the things we lacked pretty much : P ).

Though morale was sinking we still were only 1 big kill away from victory though, needing to kill about 8k more acres while losing would need to lose ~12k acres. I got my tribe into some higher pumped up warmode, razing some homes for guilds and pumping all money into leets. As I was a pretty big DE, I suffered penalties so far at each KA but at 7 ST it was decided to go after the big HE with the amazingly low DPA. It was special for him that I trained more DE leets, since I could break him (as DE : D ) but it would be quite a suicide.
Thus, with 2 razes from GNS attackers at 16:59, I assumed it was safe to semi-suicide at 18:59 at the HE, razing down some 200 homes on top of voiding his spells and DM-ing another 280 or so. Alot of ppl (the first KA where all larger tribes participated, although a certain V. and Bolle didn’t anymore belong to the larger tribes) did a lot of damage but when the dust settled after tick he had about 75k citizens left. On top of that he had also managed to rebuild about 200 homes before the tick. When calcing, we noticed his max citz when voided being zero though, and Acwder + me retried sneakily the next tick, voiding at 59:58 and PWing blind at 21:00 without showing any other ops. This worked fine except that Acwders successrate was too low to kill all 200 citz and meanwhile our HE hero released a bunch of offspecs to get his citz back up before zelic could run to aid with a bunch of FBs.
The next tick, this big HE grabbed me for a whopping 1400 acres by using his second general. I had totally forgotten about the possibility and didn’t plan on getting grabbed at all, but alas… It had it’s advantages anyway: my DM cost went down and the HE received a nice 20k+ defspecs for free, bringing down his max citz slightly although perhaps importantly. We let this tick pass without trying due to our thieves being still out. Thus our last chance was to kill him in a tick while he had 200 homes incoming (because the tick after the big bunch of 900 homes came in). This was supposed to be doable because Acwder once more got the idea to raze him a bit (ppl don’t expect razes from DEs and Britts so much it seems).
Thus the tick neared.. Windows were set ready, ppl were all around… All ops were hold until 59:50 earliest on the HE. With voids and DMs + a massive and finely timed raze from Acwder (Kaamos had already razed together with me) the HE was brought down to 200 citz due to combined effort of all and quickly FBed to death causing massive lag because it also generated the war win. KPs small attackers meanwhile had triplerazed a small Balrog that was already grabbed down before and brought him to 200 citz, but in all the lag and chaos he was forgotten to get FBed and he released troops. Next tick however he was put down in peace to end the suffering of his pretty much wrecked tribe (he needed to release almost all troops to survive which isn’t very nice as Balrog: we needed -64 homes without MV for kill, something V. and Bolle managed to take out without too much effort, V. thus contributing nicely in the aftermath of the war).

Final score:
Kills: KP-GNS 4 – 2.
Fails: KP-GNS 2-1 (but failing zelic imo doesn’t count)
